Lyman Whitaker is a renowned local sculptor with an international following.  Drawn to the solitude of the desert, Lyman loves retreating to his off-grid yurt, where the timing of the day is marked by the rhythms of nature.  His kinetic artwork, developed over the past three decades, is well known for the response to nature as well as mechanical integrity and magical movement.

 The reflective quality of stainless steel, his newest body of work, offers an additional dimension as light plays off its surfaces.
